Where to practice throwing North?

Do you all have a favorite open place to practice throwing? I am new to the sport and need to work on my basic skills. I live in the mopac/45 howard lane area.

old settlers park has lots of field and a long open 21 hole course. same turnoff of 79 as the dell diamond
