Flex Tee time: 5:00 – 5:30 (sign up Hole #1 South)

• 10-week singles league with 4 divisions (Pro, Adv, Int & Rec)
• $20 to join with an optional one-time $5 league ace pot that is split evenly between all aces hit during league play
• You can play all 10 weeks and drop your worst 5 scores; you can play just 5 weeks and all your scores will count; or anywhere in between. You can join the league any time during the first 6 weeks.

Come ONE Come ALL! It is that time for the Waterloo Disc Golf Club General Meeting...it's open to everyone INCLUDING YOU!

Monday, May 9th at 7 p.m.
Pre-Social Starts at 6:30 p.m.
Mister Tramps Pub & Sports Bar in Austin, Texas

No you don't have to be a club member or a disc golfer, but you can be BOTH if you want to. Your mom always said you were "special", so we are having a good time on this day with you in mind.

Come out, have a beverage, have some eats, and have some good times talking about Disc Golf in the Austin & Central Texas Area.

This is one of the few times outside of the Waterloo Tourney that everyone can come to hang out and have some down time in one spot with NO WORK involved.
Yep, NO WORK. Only Troy has seemingly signed his life away assuming you won't destroy the place. ;o)

We would like you to come out, bring some friends, and see what the Waterloo DGC is all about. Come find out about:
- course improvements
- what input is needed for courses and events
- what those future events are
- how YOU can help
- how YOU can get OTHERS to help
....and how we can continually help to improve the Disc Golf Community in the region.

We will also be accepting your Club Membership and Membership Renewals, possibly have some surprises, razz Gordo a little bit, and who knows what else... but you need to be there to find out!

So please make the time to come out for the meeting, show some support by renewing your membership, brings some friends to see what we are about, thank all of those that work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep Disc Golf moving forward in Austin... and come to have fun without the DG work.

With all the frustrating events surrounding disc golf here in Austin lately, it is nice to finally have some good news.

The improvements to the Zilker course are well underway!!!

The large limestone benches have already been installed on all 18 holes, and the new concrete tee boxes on the south side are done!

Fresh mulch will be put out this Saturday morning (9 am – 1 pm) during the club’s workday, and more work is still ahead with stuff like paths, erosion controls, and other Circle C / Searight type features.

Later in the year, we hope to put in new tee signs. This will mark the first time there have been signs at the Zilker course since the late 80s or early 90s.

The work is being done through a partnership between the club and the Austin Parks & Rec. Dept. The has committed over $2000 to this project and the more we can raise, the sooner we can get it all done. The city is spending a lot on this course as well, through materials, equipment, and labor.

If you would like to make a donation to the project, you can mail it to the club at WDGC, PO Box 33531, Austin, TX, 78746 or you can donate in person at the Disc Nation store at 1218 W. Slaughter Lane (and if you do, they will match that donation dollar for dollar – thanks Disc Nation!). You can also do it in person at the club’s Ice Bowl at Zilker on February 5th or at any of the club’s other minis and events.

If we end up with more than we need for Zilker, we’ll spend the rest on Bartholomew J
